Laurel Barnes: the founder of the Wollongong Doll Club in 1983, sadly passed away peacefully on Saturday 20th December 2025. Laurel was a vibrant personality who spread joy and happiness to others with her smile and outstanding creativity.  Her perfectly presented doll collection was always dressed in handmade clothes. The initial club was set up to raise money for Cancer research.
